In the art installation "Floor 1997-2000″ by South Korean artist Do Ho Suh, more than 180,000 plastic figurines support a glass floor that viewers can walk on. The installation is currently on display at the Lehmann Maupin Gallery show at the Singapore Tyler Print Institute through February 11.

Split Decision pie-pan for baking two different half-pies in one go

The Split Decision pie-pan lets you bake two pies in the same receptacle, settling any arguments about which sort of pie should be had that day and generating handsome, smooth half-pies the like of which humanity was not meant to ken of.

I'm not enough of a baker to know if different sorts of pies have different cooking times/temperatures, but I'm assuming that they'll all be within a certain range that is determined by the need to cook (but not burn) the crust.

Russian photographer Alexander Semenov takes beautiful underwater photos of sea creatures. Semenov studied zoology as a college student (specifically squid brains—really) and works as a diver and project manager at the White Sea Biological Station in Russia.
