The Takabisha roller coaster at Japan's Fuji-Q Highland amusement park is the world's steepest steel roller coaster–riders are subjected to a 141 foot freefall at 121 degrees (the drop happens at the 2 minute mark of this press preview ride video). The roller coaster opens on July 16. "Takabisha" translates roughly as "dominant".
