In December 2010, a 19-foot tall defecating giant at the Maremagnum Shopping Centre in Barcelona, Spain snagged the Guinness World Record for Largest Caganer.
El Caganer is a pooping peasant figure in Catalan Christmas nativity scenes, often found squatting off to the side of the traditional scene. Small Caganer statues are now sold online but can be still found (sometimes out of immediate view) at the open air holiday markets in Catalonia and Spain. There are hundreds of variations of this defecating figure, including: politicians, rock stars and many more.
